Estimator – Commercial Flooring (Remote)

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team.

About the Role

This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates based in Melbourne, where the majority of our projects are located.

The primary focus of this role is preparing accurate estimates and quotations for commercial flooring projects. While estimating is your core responsibility, you'll also have the opportunity to provide project support when required. As we deliver projects nationally, occasional interstate travel may be required to assist with project delivery and client support.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive flooring estimates and quotations for commercial projects.

• Review plans, specifications and finishes schedules.

• Complete material take-offs and cost analysis.

• Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing and product information.

• Work closely with the sales and project management teams to ensure smooth project handovers.

• Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation.

• Provide project support during delivery when required, including occasional site visits.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• 3+ years' experience in commercial flooring estimating or a similar flooring industry role.

• Strong understanding of commercial flooring products and installation methods.

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

• The ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• A willingness to travel occasionally to support projects across Australia.

Highly Regarded

• Experience using MeasureSquare estimating software.

• Previous experience working on large commercial or national flooring projects.

• Established network of Suppliers, Builders and Installers.
