Enrolled Nurse - Neurosurgical / Orthopaedics | The Wesley Hospital 

Employment Term: Permanent Part time Opportunity - 32 hours per week

Location: located in the peaceful surrounds of Auchenflower, The Wesley Hospital is just 5 mins from Toowong Shopping Village and 10 mins from Brisbane City

Remuneration Value: $36.57 - $40.93 p/hr + 12% Super + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging Value + Shift Penalties

Your part in The Wesley Hospital team 

Joining our Neurosurgical / Orthopaedic Ward as an Enrolled Nurse, you will be working with our clinical team for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. You’ll deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills.

We are nationally recognised leaders in Orthopaedic procedures, offering services that include: Elbow and forearm surgery, Foot and ankle surgery, Hip replacements, Knee and shoulder surgery, Knee replacements,  hip and knee surgery, Spinal surgery, Trauma surgery, Tumour surgery for bone cancers and soft tissue sarcomas.

What makes a difference for us?

• Minimum 12 months post graduate experience in Neurosurgical/Orthopaedics or similar acute hospital setting

• Diploma of Nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration

• Flexibility to work a full rotating roster

• Desire for ongoing professional development

• Proven patient-centred focus on safety and quality of care

• Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements
