About the Role
Canberra Grammar School is seeking an experienced and inspiring Assistant Director of Wellbeing Education to help shape the wellbeing, character and personal development of our Senior School students.
This influential leadership role oversees the delivery of the Senior School’s wellbeing education programme, ensuring that wellbeing is intentionally taught, thoughtfully sequenced and consistently experienced by every student.
Working closely with the Director of Wellbeing Education, you will also help lead the School’s response to complex and high-risk student matters, bringing sound judgement, coordinated care and a strong commitment to safeguarding and procedural integrity.
The role brings the School’s Anglican values and commitment to formation to life through the Personal Development Programme, student agency, active citizenship and visible, responsive care. It offers a meaningful opportunity to influence both proactive wellbeing education and the complex end of student support.
About You
You are an experienced and relational educator who believes wellbeing should be deliberately taught, authentically modelled and embedded throughout school life.
You bring compassion, courage and sound professional judgement to your work. You are equally comfortable designing engaging programmes, supporting colleagues, building relationships with families and navigating sensitive or complex student matters.
