About the role
GPW Group Pty Ltd — Siteguard Mobile Security Location: Sydney (Western/South-Western Sydney) | Full Time
About UsGPW Group designs and builds Siteguard mobile security trailers and surveillance units — solar-powered, camera-equipped units protecting worksites and assets across Australia. We are establishing a new Sydney assembly and distribution depot and are recruiting the founding team across several roles.
The OpportunityWe are hiring for the following positions:
Depot Supervisor — floor supervision, supplier and delivery coordination, incoming QA, stock ordering, and delivery scheduling
Assembly Technicians (12V/Solar) × 2 — trailer electrical fit-out, solar and battery systems, security head unit assembly, commissioning, and pre-delivery testing
Storeperson / Trades Assistant — goods receiving, stock control, kit picking, and mechanical assembly support
All roles share in deliveries and on-site commissioning as required, so a willingness to get out on the road is part of the job.
This is fast-paced, high-volume production work in a growing operation. We build the same units to the same standard, every time — but we build a lot of them, and deadlines are real. We are looking for people who can keep up the pace without letting quality slip, juggle competing priorities when the pressure is on, and stay accurate and process-driven when things get busy.
What You'll Be DoingMechanical assembly of trailer and enclosure components
Electrical assembly and fit-out: 12V systems, batteries, solar panels, cameras, and 4G communications
Bench assembly of security head units to documented build standards
Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock and components against bills of materials
Pre-delivery testing and QA sign-off to checklist
Delivering and commissioning completed units for customers as rostered
Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and works efficiently without cutting corners
Able to juggle multiple jobs and shifting priorities, staying calm and organised under pressure
Reliable, safety-conscious, and consistent in your work
Comfortable working to documented procedures, checklists, and QA sign-offs
Current driver's licence with a clean driving record
Physically fit and able to work hands-on in a workshop environment
A team player happy to pitch in across duties, including goods handling and deliveries
Mechanical and electrical assembly experience
MR licence
Forklift licence
CCTV / security systems experience
Inventory or stock control experience
Hiab / vehicle loading crane experience
No single applicant needs all of the above — we are building a team with complementary skills, and we will match successful applicants to the role that best fits their experience.
What We OfferGround-floor opportunity in a new Sydney facility with an established, growing product line
Busy, full-time hours in a well-organised, no-fuss workshop
Variety across assembly, testing, and customer delivery
