We need an experienced Wet Fire Technician to join our team servicing commercial sites across Melbourne and surrounding metropolitan areas. You'll work across a variety of wet fire systems with the autonomy to manage your day while being backed by a supportive and experienced team. This is a field-based role focused on maintenance, service and repairs, with genuine opportunities to develop your career within a growing national business.
What you'll be doingService, maintain and repair commercial wet fire systems.
Carry out routine inspections and testing in accordance with AS1851 standards.
Diagnose faults and complete corrective maintenance works.
Complete service reports and compliance documentation accurately and on time.
Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with relevant regulations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients on site.
Work closely with the scheduling and operations teams to deliver quality outcomes.
Proven experience in the maintenance, service and repair of commercial wet fire systems.
VBA Registration or Licence or relevant trade qualification.
Strong knowledge of AS1851 Fire Maintenance Standards.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Commitment to workplace health and safety.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualified Sprinkler Fitter.
Experience across a broad range of commercial fire protection systems.
Working at Heights, EWP or other relevant industry tickets.
Experience using digital reporting and maintenance platforms.
