Jacksons Australia, located just an hour from Adelaide, is a dynamic and innovative manufacturing business building a range of high-quality products in Murray Bridge.
Demand for our quality Australian made products is strong and we are looking for the right people to join us in manufacturing a range of goods including agricultural & structural products, aluminium trays, toolboxes and canopies.
We currently have vacancies for experienced press operator or experienced Sheetmetal worker who is looking for a rewarding role where quality workmanship and initiative are valued. This is a great opportunity to combine hands-on fabrication with the lifestyle benefits of regional South Australia.
☑️ What You’ll Need
· Proven experience on brake press
· Applicable trade qualifications
· Punctual, reliable, honest with a positive attitude & work ethic
· Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
· Someone who is organised, shows Initiative, drive, and the ability to meet deadlines and budgets
· Physically fit and comfortable doing manual labour
· Forklift Licence (LF) – Essential (Required or willing to obtain)
· The ability to work within a team environment is essential.
· Full Australian working rights.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Sheet metal processing & fabrication knowledge
Knowledge of Brake Press operation - tooling, setup and programming
A strong autonomous work ethic and reliability
Good written & verbal communication skills
A commitment to workplace health and safety
Consistently produce a high level of accuracy to maximise productivity & efficiency
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Quality checks of parts & dimensions in accordance with customer requirements
Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
A positive, team-focused attitude
Successful candidates must be available to work overtime as required during busy periods and a weld test is required prior to commencement.
