About Opportunity
Are you an experienced quality and compliance professional who enjoys turning requirements into meaningful improvements?
CoAct is seeking a Quality and Assurance Manager to lead our quality assurance and compliance function and help ensure high standards are embedded across our employment services network.
Reporting to the General Manager - Partner Support Services, you will lead and support the Quality team, overseeing quality and compliance operations across CoAct and working closely with members, partners and key stakeholders.
This is a broad and influential role where you will provide leadership across contract compliance, quality monitoring, audits, accreditation, risk and continuous improvement. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives, policy development, tenders and projects that strengthen the quality-of-service delivery across the organisation.
You will be responsible for:
Leading and managing the quality assurance and compliance framework across employment services contracts.
Overseeing contract compliance monitoring, audits and reporting to ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements.
Coordinating and guiding the Quality team in quality sampling, performance monitoring and member support.
Providing high-level advice and support to members and stakeholders on contract requirements and compliance obligations.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and reduce non-conformance.
Leading internal quality audits and supporting members to identify opportunities for improvement.
Managing accreditation processes and ensuring CoAct is prepared for audits and external reviews.
Contributing to policy, procedure, service delivery guidelines and strategic quality initiatives.
Supporting tender development through quality information, contract analysis and insights.
Developing clear and insightful reporting on quality, risk, compliance and emerging issues.
Ensuring quality resources, communications and compliance information remain current, accurate and appropriately version controlled.
Leading, developing and supporting a high-performing Quality team, including performance management, capability building and professional development.
Promoting and embedding WHS compliance and safe work practices across the team and operations.
You’ll have the opportunity to influence how quality and compliance are understood and delivered across CoAct, while working closely with members and internal stakeholders to achieve better outcomes.
Skills and Experience
We’re looking for an experienced quality and assurance professional who can combine strong technical knowledge with confident leadership, stakeholder engagement and a practical approach to continuous improvement.
You will bring:
Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, compliance, governance or a related field, with experience that extends beyond employment services welcomed.
Strong knowledge and understanding of quality assurance and compliance frameworks and governance.
Demonstrated experience in project and/or contract management, particularly within employment services or a related sector.
Strong understanding of government policies and programs relating to Employment Services.
Experience working across JSA, DES or similar sectors.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing a high-performing team.
Proven ability to interpret and apply guidelines, deeds, contracts and regulatory requirements.
Experience working effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including member organisations, government bodies and external parties.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare complex reports and communicate information clearly.
Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex quality, compliance and contractual matters in a way that is easily understood.
Strong strategic thinking, results orientation and problem-solving capability.
A proactive approach to identifying risks, addressing non-conformance and driving continuous improvement.
A collaborative leadership style and the ability to build trusted relationships across an organisation and external network.
A commitment to integrity, accountability and high professional standards.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in quality control, compliance or a similar discipline will be highly regarded.
Location
This is a fully remote work-from-home (WFH) position, requiring self-discipline, focus and motivation to meet daily KPIs. This is not a flexible working environment, with standard business hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm required to support our clients and sites. The successful candidate must maintain an appropriate and safe workstation at home.
Some travel will be required.
