About the role
An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Specialist Account Manager to drive the growth of a highly specialised Parkinson's disease portfolio across Victoria. This is a true key account management role where you will work strategically with neurologists, movement disorder specialists, Parkinson's disease nurses, geriatricians and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, your responsibilities will include:
developing strategic territory and account plans to achieve sales objectivesbuilding strong relationships with neurologists, movement disorder specialists, Parkinson's disease nurses and geriatricians across public and private healthcare settingsidentifying appropriate patients for advanced Parkinson's disease therapies and supporting healthcare professionals throughout the treatment pathwaydelivering clinical education and product training on both pharmaceutical and device-based therapiescollaborating closely with nurse support services and cross-functional teams to optimise patient outcomes
The Successful Candidate Will Have
demonstrated success in pharmaceutical sales within a specialist environmentstrong strategic account management and territory planning capabilitiesexceptional relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills across complex healthcare environmentsthe ability to confidently deliver clinical education and consultative sales solutions
Experience within CNS, neurology, Parkinson's disease or other specialist therapeutic areas will be highly regarded, as will experience promoting drug-device combination therapies.
