About the Opportunity
Provide expert leadership in financial compliance, assurance and governance, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations and University requirements. Lead the Financial Assurance Framework, oversee financial risk management and internal controls, and drive continuous improvement to support accurate reporting and sound financial management.
Partner with stakeholders to develop financial policies, frameworks and guidance that safeguard University resources. Maintain the integrity of the chart of accounts and general ledger, provide expert accounting advice, and lead a high-performing team to deliver financial assurance outcomes that enable informed decision-making.

This is a full time continuing opportunity primarily based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-site university, you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary
HEW 10 - $147,057.74 + 17% superannuation. Full package - $172,057.55.
