Inventory Controller

FlameStop Australia is the largest independent Fire Equipment wholesaler in the country and currently we are seeking an Inventory Controller to support our fast growing business. Reporting to the National Manager you will be responsible for proactively supporting the international business, ensuring that our expansive range of products is readily available and replenished at our distribution centres around the country.  The role is based in our Loganholme office in Brisbane.

In a fast paced environment with a high demand for our products, organisation and attention to detail will be the key to being successful.  

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a stock management and allocation system in multiple warehouses.

• Supporting the sales team and National network of warehouses with stock availability;

• Co-ordinate internal logistics movements across Australia and New Zealand

• Forecasting and ordering stock from both local and overseas suppliers

• Monthly reporting

• Liaising with our national warehouse staff re out of stocks and ETA's.

• General administration and support to the National team as required.

To be successful in this role, you will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated person focused on delivering daily outcomes.  

You will also be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

• International shipping/freight experience is desirable

• Previous experience in a similar position with multiple warehouses would be an advantage but not necessary

• Strong customer service, administration and written communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment

• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task

• Strong MS office skills, especially Excel
