Field Maintenance/Handyperson

SOS Maintenance Services is a national maintenance provider to the retail industry and is seeking a full time Technician to look after our Victorian based clients.  Primarily,  SOS repair and service customer shopping trolleys, stock trolleys and perform general on site equipment repairs. A vehicle, tools and equipment required for the role will be provided.

SOS Maintenance Services has a full time position available with an immediate start.

Duties & Responsibilities

This highly diverse role includes:

• Manage a regular Maintenance Program

• On site service & repairs

• Assembly work

• Deliveries & Logistics

• Administration to Head Office

Candidate Requirements

Although a trade qualification is desirable but not essential, there are certain requirements for this role:

• Full Drivers License

• Competent in towing and reversing large trailers, 6m x 2.4m

• Basic computer skills (web browsing, emailing & Microsoft)

• Sound written communication skills

• Ability to complete regional work trips of up to a week at a time

To be considered for this position the Candidate must:

• Have a versatile background including experience in a broad range of handyman tasks

• Exhibit a professional and enthusiastic approach in dealing with our customers

• Have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised

• Have an understanding of O H & S standards and safe work practices

• Have a sharp attention to detail

• Have strong time management skills with the ability to plan ahead and be self organised
