TEAM MEMBER - MEMORABILLIA / COLLECTABLES

Burns & Co Auctions are market leaders in the field of both inhouse and on property auctions for classic and collectable cars and motorcycles along with memorabilia and collectables.

Originating in Mildura, North West Victoria in 2015 the business has rapidly grown to now be recognised and respected as a National brand and a leader in it's chosen fields.

In 2019 the business commenced relocation into Bayswater, Vic and further expansion occurred in 2025 with the opening of a N.S.W operation in Beresfield via Newcastle, N.S.W.

The business consists of primarily three teams - Automotive - Memorabilia and Collectables - Admin and Marketing and we're looking for a new team member to join our Memorabilia and Collectables team.

This position will compliment and assist our existing team and the successful applicant will ideally bring with them a passion for history and our past, a passion for early advertising and marketing, a passion for collecting, an eye for attention to detail or maybe you've had the desire to become a leading auctioneer but never had the opportunity.

This is an opportunity to join an industry leading Brand / Company and learn the auction business back to front and from the ground up.

The role includes:

1. Collecting, receipting and preparing items for auction.

2. Photography and cataloguing lots.

3. Conducting the auction either timed online or simulcast.

4. Delivery - door pickups, courier consignment, Australia Post.

All our Auctions are catalogued and conducted through EasyBids and full training will be provided in all aspects of the position.

Last year Burns & Co conducted around 120 Auctions with a turnover of approximately $40 million so its a busy place with no two days the same.

The position is for full time member based in Bayswater, Vic who's well presented, punctual and who's looking for a unique opportunity with huge upside. There's growth in all aspects of the business including cataloguing, administration, auctioneering and logistics. Suits male or female

If you're brimmed full of enthusiasm, physically fit with youth on your side, have a willingness to learn and are a naturally passionate person we'd love to hear from you. A current drivers license is essential as is a team first attitude. A further plus would be your willingness to undertake the odd road trip with some interstate travel from time to time along with the occasional weekend commitment when we have onsite property auctions etc. The opportunity to obtain your HR and forklift license will also present down the track.
