Business Overview
Our Operations, Data & Technology (ODT) team collaborates across the business with a strong emphasis on designing solutions, increasing efficiency and reducing operational risks. The team consists of several areas of specialisation including:
The Role
The Senior Associate, reporting into the Line 1 Risk and Control Assurance Lead, will manage the organisation’s regulatory and control obligations under GS007 and Operational Due Diligence (ODD) processes, ensuring IFM can demonstrate a credible, complete and regulator-defensible control environment.
Partnering with stakeholders within the ODT business unit, the Senior Associate will provide support to ensure controls are well designed, documented and aligned to key risks and obligations.
Key responsibilities will include:
Support the coordination and execution of IFM’s annual GS007 audit, ODD reviews and associated reporting for investors and stakeholders.
Obtain, assess and validate information relating to operational processes, controls, incidents, outsourcing arrangements, operational resilience, control effectiveness and business continuity capabilities.
To assess technology, cyber security, data management, resilience and disaster recovery arrangements as part of ODD requirements.
Collaborate with procurement, risk and compliance and the wider business on third party risk management framework including TPRM related processes, risk assessment and monitoring, related policy and standard review/updates.
Coordinate escalation, reporting, and decision-making in relation to material risks, issues and regulatory obligations to senior management and governance committees (as required).
Partner with risk and compliance, as well as IFM’s external auditors to ensure alignment and efficient assurance outcomes.
Perform other activities as reasonably required to support the team and organisational objectives.
Your Background and Experience
Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Law, Technology or a related discipline.
Working knowledge of CPS 230, GS007, Operational Due Diligence (ODD) or similar controls frameworks or legislation.
Demonstrated experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to obtain, review and validate information.
Ability to collaborate and demonstrate a team-first mentality within work practices.
