Automatic & Industrial Door Technician

About the role

Stepping into a full-time position, you will be out on the road managing a variety of service calls, routine maintenance, and new installations across the region. You will be working with Automatic Doors and a range of industrial door systems.

Key responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, and servicing of automatic and industrial doors

• Conducting preventative maintenance and ensuring all assets meet AS 5007 safety compliance standards

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on-site and providing effective solutions

• Participating in our rotating 52-week after-hours call-out roster to support emergency client needs

• Liaising professionally with facility managers, clients, and our internal service coordination team

About you

• Proven experience servicing and installing automatic, commercial, or industrial doors

• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills

• Familiarity with AS 5007 compliance and safety protocols

• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to customer service

• A strong team player who is reliable and ready to contribute to a growing branch
