Area Manager -Sydney - Novo Shoes

Novo Shoes Group is a leading Australian retail group specializing in women's fashion footwear. Novo Shoes is an affordable fashion shoe retailer with stores in Australia, New Zealand & Fiji. We have an amazing opportunity available as an Area Manager in Sydney reporting to the National Sales Manager.

As the Area Manager you will lead the retail team in achieving sales and operational results, whilst building a strong, sales driven culture and succession plan.

Responsibilities include:

• Management of stores across Sydney. (More specifically in the Western Suburbs)

• Leadership & mentoring of the store management team

• Business management of all aspects of store operations including, budgets, sales, stock and wages optimization

• Assist with team member recruitment, development, performance management and succession planning

• The direction of, and implementation of the brand’s Visual Merchandising directives

• Management of the consolidation of stock

• Driving a customer-centric environment throughout the store network

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have:

• Experience in Area Management within a fast-moving fashion brand.  Minimum 2 years.

• Outstanding business acumen & market awareness

• Strong people management & training skills

• Expertise in visual merchandising

• Exceptional time management skills

• A passion for delivering an unrivalled customer experience

• A positive, can-do attitude
