Logistics Supervisor

Monday to Friday | 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

MRT Freight Services is seeking an experienced and reliable PM Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily afternoon operations at our depot.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who can lead a team while also assisting with freight handling and forklift operations.

• Coordinate afternoon freight movements and daily depot operations

• Supervise drivers and depot employees

• Load, unload, scan and organise freight

• Operate a forklift safely

• Ensure freight is handled safely and correctly

• Monitor outstanding freight and resolve operational issues

• Complete manifests, reports and other operational paperwork

• Communicate with customers, drivers and management

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised depot

• Ensure company procedures and workplace safety requirements are followed

• Current forklift licence

• Current MR truck licence or higher

• Previous transport, logistics or depot experience

• Supervisory or team leadership experience

• Good computer and administration skills

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to perform a hands-on role

• Reliable, punctual and able to work with limited supervision

• Strong focus on safety and customer service

10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Some flexibility may be required occasionally to meet operational requirements.

You will be a practical leader who is comfortable working both in the office and on the depot floor. You will be able to coordinate employees, solve problems and keep freight moving safely and efficiently.

This is not solely an office-based role. The successful applicant must be willing to operate a forklift, handle freight and drive an MR vehicle when required.
