About the role
Company Description Wybrow & Associates is a boutique financial planning firm based in Torrens, ACT, led by Principal Katrina Wybrow, a CFP with over 30 years of experience in financial planning and portfolio management. Wybrow & Associates focuses on wealth creation and management for pre-retirees, retirees, and clients navigating aged care and transition to aged care. The team collaborates closely with clients’ accountants and lawyers and draws on an active network of professional partners to deliver comprehensive, tailored advice and outcomes.Role Description The Paraplanner CSO is a full-time, on-site role based Torrens, supporting the Financial Planner in delivering high-quality advice and client service. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing statements of advice and other financial planning reports, conducting research and analysis on investments and strategies, and assisting with portfolio reviews. The role also involves maintaining accurate client records, coordinating documentation, and supporting the advice process from initial client meeting through implementation. The Paraplanner CSO will liaise with product providers and other professionals as required, helping ensure advice is compliant, timely, and aligned with client goals.QualificationsStrong foundation in Financial Planning and Finance, with the ability to understand and apply advice strategies.Analytical skills and experience working with Investments, including research, comparison, and portfolio analysis.Relevant tertiary qualification in financial planning, commerce, finance, or a related field (or working toward such qualifications).Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Confident communication skills and a client-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively within a small team and with external professionals.
