Senior Parts Interpreter

Cavpower is an official Caterpillar® dealer for South Australia and Broken Hill since 1972. Specialising in providing equipment, parts, service and rentals across local and regional branches throughout the State.

Reporting to the Parts Sales Manager, you will represent Cavpower Parts and Service department in a sales capacity and promote all parts throughout the business. You will provide high quality service to all customers quickly, efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner.

Key responsibilities of the role;

• Provide advice to customers for more complex enquiries
• Provide quotation to customers
• Support and advise customers on warranty enquiries
• Process part returns and provide refunds/credits through Bpoint
• Process hose builds through DBS as required
• Process internal and external customer enquiries, orders and quote requests
• Answer and respond to all phone calls and emails
• Calculate, quote and charge freight
• Process card payments
• Provide support to new team members and apprentices
• Engage customers to sign up to PCC or other marketing strategies
• Support customer tracking of web orders through PCC

 About you;

You will have excellent customer service skills, with a passion to drive sales and a desire to develop your knowledge and skills within a trusted Caterpillar dealership.

• Mechanical knowledge an advantage
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient computer application skills
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work
• Knowledge of Caterpillar Parts/Products (highly regarded)
• Current and valid driver’s licence
• Current High Risk forklift licence
