Site Supervisor – Concrete & Footpaths

Dowsing Group is a family-owned, multidisciplinary civil contractor delivering specialised infrastructure services to government and private sector clients across Australia.  

Founded in 1985, Dowsing has grown from a specialist concrete contractor into a full-service civil construction company with a team of more than 150 people. We self-perform a broad range of services, including civil construction, road works, concrete footpaths and kerbing, slipform construction, road profiling, and diamond grinding.

The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to take ownership of site-level quality assurance, subcontractor compliance, and client-facing checks across our subdivision concrete projects – working closely with the Project Manager to keep works moving smoothly from pre-start through to practical completion.

This is a great opportunity for both an experienced Supervisor, and concreter or civil tradesperson ready to step off the tools and into a supervisory role.

Key Duties:

• Running pre-start and PC walkthroughs across multiple active sites

• Managing subcontractor compliance with daily pre-pour checklists

• Supporting site teams with plan interpretation on complex setups

• Assessing site and pour conditions, flagging and advising on issues as they arise

• Travelling across Perth metro (north and south) to support project requirements

• Compiling QA documentation for internal and external stakeholders

• Identifying and escalating potential variations or scope changes noticed on site back to the Project Manager

Key Requirements:

• Site supervisory experience in civil, concrete, or related construction

• Exposure to concrete footpath installation scopes (highly desirable)

• Solid understanding of QA/compliance documentation on site

• Current driver's licence

• White Card

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• A proactive, hands-on approach and confidence dealing directly with subcontractors and clients
