Mobile Cocktail Bartender Mixologist & Supervisor Roles

We are currently recruiting those that can make an amazing margarita, shake a great martini and muddle and dam good mojito.

The Cocktail Queen has built its foundations on providing excellent customer service through highly trained staff and quality cocktails, delivered through affordable cocktail package and staff hire.

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate themselves to be an organised individual, with fantastic time management skills, and have general knowledge of hospitality practises. You will need to be able to work independently, present yourself in VERY professional manner, be punctual always and be able to engage with clients in a cheerful and bubbly way. We are recruiting standard Mixologists and also on the look out for a Mobile Bar Supervisor.

Work will be on a casual basis, with majority of our events held on weekends. Shifts will be between 3.5-20 hours depending on skill level, ability to work and demand for work.

This is a perfect role for someone looking for a well-paid weekend job, who may be currently studying or otherwise busy during weekdays. Mature aged applicants are also encouraged to apply. Rates are based on hospitality level 3 and 2 plus penalty rates. We also pay select travel allowances for certain events.

The Cocktail Queen is a mobile bar service, your shifts will never be in the same place twice. A driving licence is a must, with your own car essential.

You must be able to competently and confidently

• Setup a bar from a small intimate gathering to a large wedding bar.
• Make and serve cocktails efficiently and professionally.
• Clean glassware
• Constantly maintain a clean working area
• Pack up and clean area when finished

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a current RSA certificate
• Drivers Licence & own car (YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN CAR WITH A VALID AUSTRALIAN LICENCE- WE ARE A MOBILE COMPANY)
• Have knowledge/experience in hospitality
• Be friendly and approachable
• Have a high attention to detail
• Work well with others and independently - can think on there feet.
• Have great personal presentation - this is a must!
• Cocktail knowledge or desire to learn
• have undertaken a basic bar course within the last 2 years with a minimum of 8 months in hospo work, and/or worked continuously in a high volume bar for 2-3 years minimum.
• Must be able to work in leadup to Christmas and NYE (we pay additional rates on NYE)

Greater attention to those already with experience, and those also with food handling skills.
