Super Steel Australia is a leading steel supplier based in Coopers Plains, proudly servicing customers across South East Queensland. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Bandsaw Operator / Yardperson to join our warehouse team.

About the Role

This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for processing steel, preparing customer orders, and assisting with general warehouse operations to ensure products are delivered safely and on time.

Your Responsibilities

·        Operate bandsaws and other steel processing equipment to cut steel to customer specifications.

·        Set up machinery, select appropriate blades, and adjust cutting parameters.

·        Perform steel processing tasks including drilling and cropping.

·        Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for collection and delivery.

·        Load and unload trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes.

·        Receive, inspect and store incoming stock.

·        Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.

·        Work as part of a close-knit team while following all workplace health and safety procedures.

About You

·        You'll be someone who enjoys physical work and takes pride in producing quality results.

Ideally you will have:

·        Previous experience operating a bandsaw or steel processing equipment (preferred but not essential).

·        Warehouse or yardperson experience.

·        A current Forklift Licence (LF) or willingness to obtain one.

·        Ability to accurately read measurements and job sheets.

·        Strong attention to detail.

·        Good communication skills and a positive team attitude.

·        Reliable work ethic with a commitment to safety.

·        Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
