About the role

A & T Cabinet Makers is seeking a skilled Full Time Installer Cabinet Maker to join our team in Loganholme, QLD. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on diverse cabinetry projects, combining precision craftsmanship with professional installation expertise. In this role, you will be instrumental in installing high-quality custom cabinetry solutions to our clients, ensuring every project meets our exacting standards from workshop to final installation.

Key responsibilities

• Cabinet work installations: kitchens, laundries, vanity units, wall units, BBQ areas, etc

• Install completed cabinetry at client locations, ensuring proper alignment, levelling, and secure fixing

• Liaise with clients during installation to address any queries or adjustments required

• Adhere to health and safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environment

• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and maintain quality standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a cabinet maker or carpenter with demonstrated expertise in fabrication and installation

• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Competency in using hand tools and workshop machinery safely and effectively

• Knowledge of different materials including solid timber, veneers, MDF, and composite boards

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to custom project requirements

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Physical fitness and capability to lift and manoeuvre heavy materials and completed cabinetry

• Valid driver's licence and reliability for on-site installations

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or cabinetry are advantageous
