English Teacher

Downlands College is seeking applications from qualified teachers registered with the Queensland College of Teachers for a full-time, permanent position as a secondary English teacher, commencing with the start of the 2027 academic year.

Requirements

• Qualifications to teach Secondary English

• Capacity to teach Senior Literature may be advantageous

• Capacity to teach Religious Education and/or a second teaching area may be advantageous

• Confidence in extending and enriching student learning

• Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College is essential

• Knowledge and understanding of the AITSL Professional Standards and their relevance to effective teaching and learning

Salary

$86,600 – 124,724 (FTE) plus super
