Sales Assistant - Food Industry

Flavorjen is an innovative Natural Flavour Company, supplying Dairy, Fruit, Savoury flavours and specialised key ingredients to Food and Beverage Manufacturing Companies. Flavorjen services global brands in Australia, New Zealand and through South East Asia.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated go-getter, someone who is ready for the next step towards a career in Sales. In this role, you will support the Sales Managers by

·       Managing the order-to-delivery process for both sales and purchase orders

·       Freight management, including requesting quotations, processing bookings and delivery tracking

·       Prepare order and shipping documents

·       Manage enquiries, phone calls and emails, and maintain updated customer and supplier details

·       Prepare samples and documentation to customers, both national and international

·       Monitor customer orders to meet expected delivery schedules, liaising with the production team for order fulfilment

·       Generate monthly sales reports

·       Assist with maintenance of R&D records, O365  and Company files

·       Prepare quotations, marketing material and presentations

 The ideal candidate will already be well-versed in customer service, administration tasks, order and freight management. They will be a confident and articulate communicator, both in person, over the phone and in writing.  And, most importantly, be excited and ready to learn about flavours and their application in the food industry.

Your skills and competencies will include:

·        Prior experience in a similar role or position with relevant transferable skills

·        Intermediate to Advanced skills across the Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook

·        Able to produce professionally formatted documentation

·        Office 365 knowledge an advantage

·        Reckon knowledge an advantage
