About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Fuels Truck Driver to join our busy and hardworking re-fuelling division in our Eastern Creek Branch. 

• Weekend work is a requirement for the position. 

• The role is fulltime - Afternoon/night shift with start times between 1pm & 5pm.

• Shift hours and duration may vary.

Duties

• Fuel Truck Driving

• Onsite equipment refuelling as required

• Onsite Fuel Delivery

• Loading/Unloading, refuelling of equipment and asset recording of customers equipment in the Sydney Region

• Basic Yardperson duties as required/directed

• Other appropriate duties as required/directed

Skills and Experience

You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an "I will make it happen" attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum HR truck licence required, with at least 2 years professional driving experience

• Must be available to participate in a rotating on-call roster.

• White card is essential

• Excellent driving record and safety focused - A copy of your current driving record will be required to be produced at your interview.

• SLP Licence would be highly regarded

• Dangerous Goods Licence would be highly regarded

• RIW/RSW Card would be highly regarded

• Focused on providing the best service to our customers

• Can work independently, plus listen and follow instructions

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work unsupervised

• Self-motivated and takes pride in their work

• Has a strong team mind-set

• Has good English reading and writing skills

• Is reliable, punctual with excellent work ethics

• Has a stable work history and checkable work references. 

• Has a valid and current drivers licence

• Previous experience delivering fuel would be highly regarded

Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicant will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.
