Lead Educator and Trainee Educators Wanted

About the role

Carmichael Kids Child Care and Early Learning Centre is seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate Qualified Lead Educators to join our growing team. Carmichael Kids is a not-for-profit Christian Early Childhood Education and Care service committed to providing high-quality care and education in a nurturing, faith-based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework

• Uphold the requirements of a Child Safe Organisation and commitment to child safety, including understanding of the 10 Child Safe Standards and Universal Principle

• Lead the development of the educational program including planning and programming and creating provocations suitable for a play-based learning environment

• Ensure programs are inclusive and reflect the holistic needs of all children

• Build positive relationships with parents and children

• Ensure the care and development of each child in the group and support the monitoring of their educational achievement

About you

• Valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check QLD)

• Relevant ACECQA approved Qualifications

• First Aid and Anaphylaxis Training

• Asthma Management Training

• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal

• Foundations of child safety training
