Transport Supervisor | Pallets Operations

The Role:

• Lead and coordinate daily pallet transport, distribution and linehaul operations
• Oversee PUD loading, dispatch and delivery performance to meet customer expectations
• Manage fleet allocation, route planning, transport scheduling and administration activities
• Lead, coach and support a network of 20+ subcontractor and delivery drivers
• Oversee depot scanner and checker processes to ensure operational accuracy and compliance
• Monitor transport KPIs and drive service, productivity and cost performance outcomes
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, Chain of Responsibility obligations, safety requirements and fatigue management standards
• Build strong working relationships with customers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across transport operations
• Support employee engagement, performance management and operational development initiatives
• Maintain a safe, productive and compliant work environment for all employees and contractors

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience as a Transport Supervisor, Fleet Supervisor, Logistics Supervisor, Distribution Supervisor or similar operational leadership role
• Strong experience within transport operations, distribution, linehaul or logistics environments
• Proven experience managing drivers, subcontractors and fleet operations
• Sound understanding of fleet allocation, route planning, transport scheduling and delivery management
• Strong knowledge of transport compliance, Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management requirements
• Proven ability to lead teams and achieve operational performance targets
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on safety, service and operational excellence
• Experience within transport, logistics, warehousing or supply chain operations
