Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Clinical Support Nurse to join the Nursing Midwifery Education department.

This is 1 EFT fixed term until 22/8/2027.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our six main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals Centres and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.

About the Role:

This role requires bedside support of all levels of nursing learners predominantly undergraduate learners, but across all levels of programs and as required across NH campuses.

This role is responsible for the training, supervision and development of nursing undergraduate students and the preceptors that support them, but for wider staff and program bedside support as required within Northern Health working across a 7 day and evening shift roster pattern.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience and good working knowledge of acute/subacute/ nursing care
• Proven ability to operate at an advanced level of education supervision support
• Demonstrated commitment to bedside teaching and supervision of all levels of staff
• Well-developed communication skills
• Post graduate certificate level in relevant specialty or working toward
