The role also involves maintaining treatment rooms and equipment, managing appointment schedules, accurately recording client notes, and supporting the broader team with customer service and occasional reception tasks. The therapist is expected to promote services and retail products, uphold a professional appearance, and contribute to a calm, welcoming atmosphere for all clients.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Japanese head spa techniques, scalp massage, and relaxation therapies, with the ability to tailor treatments to individual client needs.Formal training or certification in beauty therapy, massage therapy, or a related field, preferably with specialization in scalp and hair care.Strong client service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a respectful, inclusive approach to people of all backgrounds.Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, including proper sanitation of tools, equipment, and treatment spaces.Good physical stamina, posture, and manual dexterity to perform treatments safely and comfortably over extended periods.Reliable time management skills, with the ability to manage bookings, work efficiently within scheduled appointment times, and collaborate smoothly with team members.Basic knowledge of scalp and hair health, including common concerns and contraindications, and willingness to stay updated on industry best practices.Comfort working in a busy, boutique beauty environment, with a positive attitude toward learning, feedback, and ongoing professional development
