We share a commitment to providing a better experience for our clients when navigating them through the separation process, including providing them with the best legal advice and advocacy, for a reasonable fee.
We currently have a position available for a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team.
This role will see the successful candidate:
Working with our Family Lawyers to successfully support them with day-to-day operations of files/client management;
Drafting and producing correspondence and legal documents, including Court documents for filing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia;
Cultivating strong relationships with our clients and fellow team members;
Supporting our legal team with optimising the use of internal systems to process information;
Preparing matters for conference and Court attendances;
Issuing client invoices and general file accounting.
To be successful in obtaining this position, you must have:
A passion for family law;
Ability to be a respectful and supportive team player;
Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills;
A polite, professional manner and a mature attitude;
Understand empathy and confidentiality;
Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks;
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
