Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for high volume processing of accounts payable transactions for multiple legal entities in North America / EMEA / APAC. The primary mandate for the Specialist will be to ensure all suppliers are paid on time, and that appropriate remittance process and internal controls are adhered to

Responsibilities

Responsible for reviewing, verifying, and processing invoices, purchase orders and expense reports from various offices and sale sites in a timely mannerEnsures purchase limits, appropriate authorizations, etc. are in accordance with corporate controlsProcesses daily check runs, electronic funds transfers, and wire paymentsResponsible for entering inter-company invoices and paying leases from property managersInvestigates and resolves any unpaid or late invoices; reconciles supplier statementsPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

2-3 years of accounts payable experience and experience working in an office environmentExperience working with ERP systemsProficiency with Microsoft Excel and WordExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationshipsOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skillsOrganized, detailed-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management skills and the ability to always meet deadlinesDemonstrated experience working well as a member of a team
