Nurse Practitioner

Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service is seeking:

Two experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner’s to join our healthcare team in both our Maddington and East Perth clinics!

These permanent, full-time roles are essential for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our medical staff in delivering comprehensive health services. Reporting to the Medical Director, you will provide advanced, evidence-based primary health care within your AHPRA-approved scope of practice, delivering culturally safe and holistic care to patients and families.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a commitment to improving patient outcomes in a dynamic medical environment.

About the Role

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will:

• Deliver autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prescribing.
• Order and interpret diagnostic investigations.
• Develop and coordinate patient care plans and referrals.
• Collaborate with GPs and multidisciplinary health professionals.
• Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and education to staff.
• Support quality improvement, clinical governance and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with patients, community members and stakeholders.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration with Nurse Practitioner endorsement.
• Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) qualification.
• Extensive clinical experience in Primary Health Care or a related field.
• Excellent communication, clinical decision-making and leadership skills.
• Current Working with Children Check, WA Driver’s Licence and National Police Clearance.
• A commitment to culturally safe care and improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
