Role Description The Reporter role at iTechworld is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Perth Area. In this role, the Reporter researches, gathers, and verifies information to produce accurate and engaging news and feature stories about iTechworld’s products, innovations, customers, and market developments. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting interviews with internal experts and external stakeholders, covering company events, and creating content for digital and print channels. The Reporter will collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging, adapt stories for multimedia formats, and meet deadlines for regular content publication. The role also involves monitoring industry trends, identifying relevant story angles, and maintaining ethical and professional reporting standards.
Qualifications
Strong reporting skills, including information gathering, fact-checking, and story development.Excellent communication and writing abilities, with a focus on clear, engaging news writing.Experience with multimedia content creation, such as photos, video, or audio, for digital platforms.Ability to work on-site in the Greater Perth Area and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Relevant experience in journalism, communications, or media; a degree or diploma in a related field is advantageous.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.Familiarity with energy, technology, or industrial sectors is beneficial, along with interest in clean power and innovation.
