Junior Developer

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Developer to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. The role involves working closely with developers, product teams, testers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable, maintainable, and user-focused software solutions.Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining application features, writing clean and efficient code, fixing bugs, performing code reviews, and supporting software testing and debugging activities. The Junior Developer will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.The role also involves learning and applying development best practices, contributing to technical documentation, investigating technical issues, and supporting continuous improvements to applications and development processes. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with team members, follow established coding standards, and continuously develop technical knowledge and problem-solving capabilities.QualificationsBasic understanding of software development, programming principles, and the software development lifecycle.Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, or similar.Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and basic software design concepts.Familiarity with web development, APIs, databases, or application development is preferred.Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.Understanding of software testing, debugging, and code quality practices.Familiarity with development frameworks, libraries, or cloud platforms is an advantage.Ability to read, understand, troubleshoot, and improve existing code.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative development environment.Good communication skills and willingness to learn from technical feedback.Proactive, curious, and adaptable mindset with a strong interest in software development and emerging technologies.Commitment to writing maintainable, reliable, and secure code while continuously improving technical skills.
