Dispatch Coordinator

About the role

You will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day dispatch of printed materials and working closely with our production, sales and administration teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating and organising outgoing customer orders

• Checking finished jobs against job specifications before dispatch

• Packing and preparing goods for collection or delivery

• Arranging freight and coordinating with couriers and transport companies for local, interstate and international orders

• Loading and unloading goods as required

• Keeping accurate records of outgoing jobs and deliveries

• Receipting and moving goods within the production area

• Following workplace health and safety policies and procedures at all times

• Troubleshoot shipping issues and drive continuous improvement

About you

• Good computer skills and confidence using computer systems

• Strong attention to detail

• Good organisational and time-management skills

• Reliable and punctual

• Ability to work well as part of a team

• Physically capable of handling boxes and printed materials

• Desirable: Current forklift licence

• Desirable: Previous dispatch, warehouse, logistics or print industry experience

• Desirable: Experience arranging freight and working with courier companies
