Job Type: Full time – Maternity Leave role 3-6 months with possibility to extend.

As the first point of contact for many stakeholders, you will help create a welcoming and professional experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of our home. About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Administration Officer provides high-quality administrative support to the leadership team and assists with resident admissions, staff administration, roster coordination, training administration, and front reception duties.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming residents, families, visitors, and contractors to the home
• Managing reception, phone enquiries, mail, calendars, and appointments
• Preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and coordinating communications
• Assisting with resident admissions, discharges, and family enquiries
• Supporting recruitment, staff onboarding, and employee records management
• Assisting with roster coordination, payroll queries, and leave management
• Coordinating staff training sessions and maintaining learning records
• Preparing reports, audits, surveys, and newsletters
• Maintaining accurate databases and administrative systems
• Supporting quality, compliance, and continuous improvement activities within the home

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Previous experience in an administrative, reception, or office support role
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
• High levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
• A commitment to delivering outstanding service 

Compliance Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in administration
• Up to date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
• 2026 Influenza vaccination
• NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance)
• Australian Resident or Permanent Resident of Australia
