About the role
Sync Technologies | Sydney, NSW | Full-Time | Hybrid
Are you an organised, detail-driven person looking to build a genuine career in operations? Sync Technologies is looking for an Associate Operations & Quality Coordinator to join our growing team in Neutral Bay.
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to learn the fundamentals of operations coordination and quality control in a real, client-facing business. You'll work closely with our Operations & Customer Success team to help coordinate, process, quality-check, and deliver scanning and data projects in line with our Service Level Agreements (SLAs). No prior industry experience required — full training and support will be provided.
About the RoleYou'll play a supporting role in maintaining quality and consistency across our client-facing operations, learning the full process from intake and coordination through to final delivery — with guidance and oversight from experienced team members. It's a fast-paced, varied role that will give you hands-on exposure to how a real operations function runs day to day. No two days will be the same, and you'll be supported to grow into greater ownership as you build confidence and experience.
What You'll DoOperational Support – Assist the Operations team, stepping in wherever needed to help maintain workflow continuity.
Job Coordination – Help schedule, track, and update the status of scanning and processing jobs to support internal and client SLAs.
Quality Control – Review processed data and visuals for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, escalating anything uncertain to a senior team member.
Process Delivery – Support the coordination and finalisation of completed jobs, ensuring correct documentation and labelling ahead of client delivery.
Issue Resolution – Learn to spot workflow or quality issues early and flag them promptly.
Continuous Improvement – Share observations and feedback on recurring challenges as you learn the operation.
Customer Experience – Help maintain a professional, reliable standard across all touchpoints.
Cross-Team Collaboration – Work alongside operations, product, tech and sales teams to support seamless project delivery.
Essential:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and follow structured processes accurately and consistently
Ability to manage multiple small tasks and prioritise, with support from senior team members
Good written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with computer literacy tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar)
A proactive, can-do attitude and comfort asking questions in a fast-paced environment
Desirable (not essential):
Some prior experience in operations, retail, administration, customer service, or a quality-related role or internship
Exposure to digital workflows, data handling, or scanning/processing software
Interest in or exposure to SLAs or structured service delivery frameworks
Currently completing or recently completed a relevant qualification
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, standard business hours with flexibility to manage workload peaks
Location: Hybrid — minimum 3 days per week in our Neutral Bay office, remaining days flexible
Setup: You'll need a reliable internet connection and an ergonomic home office setup for remote days
You're a reliable, organised person early in your career who enjoys structure, process, and teamwork. You're eager to learn, comfortable asking for help, and take pride in getting the details right. You're confident stepping in to support different parts of the operation as needed, and you're looking to build a genuine foundation in operations coordination — with real room to grow.
