Industrial Electrician - Service & Maintenance

As part of the Sentra Group, we're continuing to grow, partnering with some of Australia's leading manufacturers to provide embedded maintenance, preventative maintenance, breakdown support and specialist electrical services.

We're now seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance & Service Electrician to join our team in a unique hybrid role, splitting your time between industrial maintenance and field service work across Melbourne. This position offers the variety of working across multiple sites while also providing consistent maintenance responsibilities with our valued FMCG customers.

About the Opportunity:

This full-time position offers a great mix of consistency and variety. You'll split your time between providing maintenance support to our valued customers—predominantly within the FMCG sector—and working alongside our Service Team across a diverse range of industrial and manufacturing sites throughout Melbourne.

In the maintenance aspect of the role, you'll carry out preventative maintenance, fault finding, breakdown response and help ensure the ongoing reliability of production equipment. On the service side, you'll undertake reactive maintenance, installations and small project works across a variety of customer sites.

A fully maintained company vehicle is provided, allowing you to travel between sites while enjoying the support of a close-knit and experienced team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• General electrical service and maintenance across industrial and manufacturing sites

• Fault finding, repairs and electrical works

• Preventative maintenance, testing and compliance activities

• RCD testing, emergency lighting inspections and thermal scanning

• Liaising with clients in a professional and customer-focused manner

• Completing job records, reports and documentation through our job management system

• Supporting apprentices and other team members where required

What We're Looking For:

We're interested in connecting with electricians who have:

• Current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence

• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance and/or service

• Strong fault finding and troubleshooting skills

• Experience working on manufacturing or process equipment

• Exposure to PLCs, VSDs and automation (highly regarded)

• Current Australian Driver's Licence

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A proactive approach to safety, quality and customer service
