LABOURER / GLASS CUTTER - NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

About the role

Superior Glass & Glazing Pty Ltd is seeking a Labourer / Glass Cutter to join our team in Dandenong South, Victoria. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to start or develop your career in the glass and glazing industry. No prior experience is necessary – we are looking for individuals who are keen to learn, work hard, and grow within a supportive team environment. You will work on-site at our facility, handling various tasks related to glass cutting, preparation, and general labouring duties in a fast-paced manufacturing and service setting.

Key responsibilities

• Cutting and preparing glass to specified dimensions and requirements

• Assisting with the loading, unloading, and handling of glass materials safely and efficiently

• Operating basic machinery and tools used in glass preparation and finishing

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards

• Supporting experienced team members with various labouring tasks as directed

What we're looking for

• No experience necessary – we welcome enthusiastic individuals willing to learn

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting and moving heavy materials

• Attention to detail and accuracy when working with measurements and specifications

• Strong commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace

• Reliability and punctuality with a willingness to work full-time hours

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team

• Good communication skills and a positive attitude

• Preferably, some experience in trades, manufacturing, or a similar practical environment (desirable but not essential)

• Current driver's licence would be advantageous
