Role DescriptionThe Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining reliable and scalable software applications and systems. The role involves translating business and technical requirements into effective software solutions while ensuring code quality, performance, security, and maintainability.Key responsibilities include analyzing requirements, designing software components, writing clean and efficient code, conducting code reviews, debugging issues, and developing automated tests. The Software Engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet functional and business requirements.The role also involves maintaining existing applications, identifying opportunities for technical improvements, optimizing system performance, and contributing to software architecture and development standards. The Software Engineer is expected to stay informed about relevant technologies, development practices, and industry trends while continuously improving engineering processes and product quality.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.Strong knowledge of software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, C++, or Go.Good understanding of databases, APIs, version control systems, and software development life cycles.Experience with Git and familiarity with modern development frameworks, testing practices, and CI/CD concepts.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, security, scalability, and performance optimization is an advantage.Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional and engineering teams.Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing technical requirements.
