What We Offer
•    Casual Role: DIDO outage, located at Kogan Creek Power Station in Brigalow, QLD 
•    Project Dates: Start date from mid-July, running approximately until mid-September
•    Roster: Monday to Saturday | Day & Night shifts | 11-hour shifts
•    Competitive Rate: Competitive EBA rates + 25% casual loading + overtime penalties (from base rate) + site allowances

The Opportunity 
Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking casual Laggers to provide outage services at Kogen Creek Power Station in Brigalow, QLD. Starting in mid-July 2026, Downer will offer mechanical and project services throughout the outage period. As a Lagger, you will apply your expertise in removing damaged or aged insulation materials from pipes, boilers, and ductwork, install new insulation and apply protective cladding over insulation to shield it from damage and wear.

About You 
•    Site Proficient: Experienced in outages and projects in the power generation or heavy industrial sector
•    Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
•    Workplace Safety: Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
•    Qualifications:  Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E), Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 2 years), Construction white card
