Property Risk Consultant

RiskTech is a growing property risk management consultancy seeking a motivated Property Risk Consultant to join our Sydney team.

Ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional, this role offers hands-on experience, mentoring from industry experts, and exposure to a wide range of property risk, compliance and environmental consulting projects.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will support the delivery of property risk management and compliance services to clients across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Property Risk and Environmental Compliance Assessments

• Undertake Hazardous Materials Surveys and Assessments

• Complete property inspections relating to Hazardous chemicals, Plant and equipment risks, Indoor air quality, Property compliance requirements

• Prepare clear, professional reports and recommendations

• Engage with clients and support project delivery across a range of sectors

We offer tailored risk management solutions to clients across a broad range of sectors focusing on both regulatory and insurable risks. We specialise in property risk engineering and property compliance, as well as hazardous materials identification and management.

The Location

This position is based at RiskTech's Head Office in Rhodes, Sydney, with travel to client sites as required.

Essential Criteria

• Strong verbal and communication skills

• High quality report writing abilities

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Effective time management skills

• Ability to both work in a team or independently

• Current Australian driver’s license and ability to travel

• Can-do attitude with engaging and positive approach

Desirable Criteria

• Qualifications in Engineering, Science, Building Compliance or related discipline

• Licensed asbestos assessor qualification

• Experience in converting and managing new business opportunities

• Experience in the provision of risk management consulting services

• Knowledge of property risks as outlined above

Salary

• Negotiable and commensurate with experience and qualifications
