About the Role
GfK is seeking reliable and professional people to work on Australia’s National Radio Ratings project — a respected national study running since 1944. This is a casual, field‑based role involving face‑to‑face interviewing with households across Adelaide. No selling or commission is involved — the role focuses on accurate data collection for an important national research program. No previous interviewing experience is required; full training and support are provided.
Key Responsibilities
Cold calling upon residential households
Place and explain Radio Listening Diaries
Collect demographic information using a tablet which is supplied
Return to households to collect completed diaries
Accurately record outcomes and complete basic administration
Represent GfK in a professional and respectful manner
Travel Area
Work is conducted across Greater Adelaide, and you may be rostered anywhere within this region.
Hours & Pay
Casual role, approximately 15–20 hours per week
Thursday to Sunday availability required (Sunday is essential)
Rosters provided 5 weeks in advance
$33.24 per hour, increasing to $38.17 per hour after 50 hours training period
Travel Allowance $1 per km for car use and reimbursement for phone use

Detail‑focused and committed to quality work
Resilient and professional when facing rejection
Physically able to walk long distances in all weather conditions
Interviewing experience is helpful but not essential.
Essential Requirements
Availability Thursday to Sunday (Sunday essential)
Reliable car and current Australian driver’s license
Mobile phone, email, and basic technology skills
A home address suitable for occasional courier deliveries and collections
Willingness to complete a National Police Check (paid for by GfK)
