Experienced Marine Technician/Fitter

About the role

We're growing and looking for a highly experienced Marine Technician/Fitter to join our team. You'll work with premium brands including Yamaha Outboards, Extreme Boats, Senator Boats, and Formosa Boats, fitting and rigging outboard motors, installing electrical systems, and setting up marine electronics to ensure boats are finished to a premium standard.

Key responsibilities

• Fitting and rigging outboard motors (Yamaha experience highly regarded, e.g. Helm Master & Bow Thruster)

• Installing and wiring 12V power systems e.g. Chargers, Inverters, Controllers

• Fitting outboard rigging equipment (steering, controls, cables)

• Installing and setting up chartplotters, radios, and other marine electronics

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues

• Working closely with the team to ensure boats are finished to a premium standard

About you

• Previous experience as a marine technician/fitter (essential)

• Solid knowledge of outboard motors and rigging

• Experience with 12V marine electrical systems

• Familiarity with marine electronics (chartplotters, radios, sounders, etc.)

• A genuine passion for boating and the marine industry

• Enthusiastic to learn the latest in trailer boat electrical and rigging systems

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

• Ability to work well as part of a team

• Relevant trade qualification highly regarded

• Driver's licence required; boat licence required
