About the School

Emmanuel Christian Community School a co-educational K-12 institution in Perth’s northern suburbs has been nurturing students since 1982 and now serves over 750 students. We invite applications from fit, energetic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Grounds person.

Under the supervision of the Head Grounds person, the successful applicant will assist with the maintenance of grounds, gardens and facilities to ensure a safe, vibrant and clean school environment. 

The successful applicant will:

• actively demonstrate a commitment to promote the objectives and ethos of Christian Education as articulated in the Vision and Mission of the School.

• be a Christian, belong to a church and called to this ministry.

• be physically capable of performing manual labour.

• show initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.

• hold a valid C class Driver’s Licence.

  Successful candidates will be required to complete a Fit for Work medical assessment prior to commencing employment.

Selection Criteria:

• Experience in general gardening, cleaning and other labouring tasks.

• Ability to support the Head Groundsperson with basic building and fixture maintenance. 

• Ability to perform routine maintenance on tools, plant and equipment. 

• Commitment to safe work practices.

Advantageous:

• White Card

• Working at Heights certification

• Licence to Perform High Risk Work
