About the role
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Product Support Representative is responsible for growing Striker's spare parts business and delivering the approved aftermarket revenue and gross margin budgets.
This role owns the installed equipment base and works proactively with customers, Parts Processing, Procurement, Service and Engineering to identify future parts demand, develop revenue opportunities and ensure the right inventory is available to support customer requirements.
Success in this role will be measured by revenue growth, gross margin performance, installed-base intelligence, customer engagement and forecasting accuracy.
The role is focused on commercially growing Striker's aftermarket business by understanding how customer machines are operating, what parts they will require in the future and ensuring those opportunities are converted into revenue.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccountable for achieving approved spare parts revenue and gross margin budgets.
Develop and execute plans to grow aftermarket parts sales across Striker's installed machine base.
Build and maintain a pipeline of aftermarket opportunities.
Identify wear-part, shutdown, maintenance and replacement opportunities.
Drive customer engagement activities that increase recurring parts revenue.
Monitor customer purchasing trends and identify growth opportunities.
Develop a detailed understanding of customer operations and machine utilisation.
Maintain accurate records of machine locations, ownership and operating hours.
Build relationships with site personnel, maintenance managers and key decision-makers.
Identify future replacement, wear-part and lifecycle support opportunities.
Work closely with Procurement to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
Provide monthly demand forecasts based on machine utilisation, customer plans and upcoming shutdowns.
Recommend strategic stock holdings and stocking profiles.
Help reduce stock shortages, lost sales and excess inventory.
Ensure inventory decisions are supported by customer and machine data.
Act as a key commercial contact for aftermarket customers.
Support customers with spare parts planning and lifecycle support solutions.
Work closely with Parts Processing to progress opportunities from enquiry through to outcome.
Coordinate internal resources to improve customer support outcomes.
Experience growing aftermarket, parts or product support revenue.
Strong commercial and customer relationship skills.
Ability to influence purchasing and inventory decisions through data and forecasting.
Experience within mining equipment, crushing and screening, quarrying, earthmoving or heavy equipment industries.
Strong understanding of equipment lifecycle and wear-part management.
Experience using CRM and inventory management systems.
Mechanical trade, technical or equipment background highly regarded.
