Site Coordinator – Construction

Melbourne Creative Group is looking for an experienced Site Coordinator to join our Melbourne team.

We are looking for someone with construction experience, strong site coordination skills, and the ability to communicate confidently in both Mandarin and English.

The role will primarily focus on site and project coordination, while also supporting client relationships and sales opportunities as projects progress.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate day-to-day site and installation activities

• Liaise with builders, site managers, subcontractors and trades

• Attend client meetings and site meetings

• Read and understand construction drawings and shop drawings

• Coordinate site measurements, materials, deliveries and installation schedules

• Monitor project progress and installation quality

• Identify and help resolve site and installation issues

• Coordinate between Australian clients and our Chinese-speaking technical and supply teams

• Provide regular project and site progress updates

• Build and maintain good relationships with clients and builders

• Follow up client enquiries and project opportunities where required

• Support quotations, tender follow-ups and sales activities

• Identify potential opportunities from existing and new client relationships

• Follow projects through from site preparation to installation and completion

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in the construction industry

• Previous site coordination, project coordination or similar experience

• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and strong working English

• Confident communicating with clients, builders and trades

• Able to read and understand construction drawings

• Good understanding of construction and site processes

• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills

• Commercially minded and comfortable supporting client and sales activities

• Able to work independently and take ownership of site matters

• Australian driver's licence

• White Card

Previous experience working across office fit-outs, retail fit-outs, residential or commercial construction projects, with a good understanding of site coordination and project delivery, will be highly regarded.
