Commercial Joinery Project Manager

Apex Commercial Joinery delivers commercial joinery projects across Western Australia, specialising in multi-residential, aged care and hospitality developments.

We operate a structured offshore manufacturing model supported by disciplined local project delivery. As our workload increases, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of projects from contract award through to handover.

This role is focused on delivery and commercial control. Estimating and business development are managed separately.

The Role

You will manage the full post-contract lifecycle of commercial joinery projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing contracts and identifying commercial risks
• Establishing procurement and delivery programmes early
• Coordinating shop drawings and manufacturing timelines
• Managing offshore production and delivery sequencing
• Maintaining strong and consistent site presence
• Managing RFIs, variations, extensions of time and progress claims
• Driving installation through to practical completion

You will typically manage 1–3 projects concurrently depending on scale.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong site engagement and disciplined commercial management.

About You

You are an experienced commercial joinery Project Manager with solid delivery capability and commercial awareness.

You bring:

• 5–10 years experience in commercial joinery or fit-out delivery
• Strong understanding of joinery detailing and installation sequencing
• Experience managing variations and protecting margin
• Confidence dealing directly with builders and consultants
• Organised and structured approach to procurement and programme management
