About the department

CITS is a diverse agency that supports all Western Australians by giving them opportunities to reach their potential and live their very best lives. About Tourism Western Australia

Tourism WA is responsible for promoting Western Australia as a holiday destination. Its focus is on marketing the State; developing, attracting and promoting major sporting, cultural and business events; and supporting the development of significant tourism infrastructure and projects.

About the role

Help bring Western Australia’s tourism story to life.

We’re looking for a highly organised and digitally savvy professional to provide administrative and marketing support across Tourism WA’s content creation, implementation and social community management activities.

In this role, you will:

• Provide administrative support for content creation and implementation across Tourism WA platforms.
• Support social media community management and day-to-day content coordination.
• Maintain the Team WA Marketing Hub, including the Image Library, Video Library and Marketing User Guides.
• Monitor social media sentiment and content performance, identifying trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure content and marketing resources are well organised, current and accessible.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with an interest in digital marketing, social media and tourism. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with digital content and platforms, and turning performance insights into actionable recommendations.
