What This Role Involves
As a GambleAware Counsellor, you will provide recovery-oriented counselling, assessment and therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples and families affected by gambling harm.
This is a full-time, 6-month maternity relief position, providing an opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative team while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families experiencing gambling harm.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support clients through evidence-based interventions, risk assessment and management, individualised care planning and coordinated referral pathways.
You will also have the opportunity to engage with the broader community, helping to increase awareness of gambling harm and promote access to support.
This role will suit someone who is compassionate, clinically capable and confident in building meaningful relationships with clients and community stakeholders.
